The City Clerk administers the City's budget, records receipts, and processes payments for all city purchases.

The City Clerk provides administrative support for the Mayor and the City Council. The Clerk serves as the city's official custodian of records, and provides Human Resource services.
The Annual Fiscal Year Budget is adopted by the City Council in or before June of each year for the fiscal year beginning on July 1.
The City is required to have an annual audit performed by an outside independent auditor in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
